Your MINI’s battery works hard. Starting the engine, heating and cooling, charging your electrical system and devices – all of these systems call on your battery. That’s why, over time, all batteries will need to be replaced. You can be confident knowing only MINI Original Batteries are designed, manufactured, and tested to be the perfect fit.
Registering the new battery to the engine control unit (ECU) is included, and it is required to maximize power management efficiency and battery longevity. Registration resets the ECU, enabling the unit to recognize and monitor the age and mileage of the new battery, which allows the alternator to drive power to the battery only when it is needed.
Work performed in this service:
- Disconnection and reconnection of battery.
- Removal and replacement of battery.
- ECU battery registration.
All work is carried out by MINI Trained Technicians using MINI Original Parts, which come with a two-year unlimited mileage limited warranty. Warranty repairs do not constitute an extension of the original limited warranty period for the vehicle or a part thereof.
